Gels are specific enemies included by default.

The Enemy

Small slime creature created from a Zol. There are four types, normal and fire, each which also come in tribble varieties. There is a bug that causes Gels created by killing a Zol to sometimes appear directly above Link when you kill the Zol, instead of splitting away from where it was. This has been around since 1.90.

These gels can be killed in one hit with any weapon, even including power 0 boomerangs and hookshots. The Tribble variety transforms into a Zol 1 Tribble if not killed quickly. In the official Fourth Quest, the tribble variety uses CSet 7 instead of CSet 9 to distinguish it from the normal variety.

New enemies in Zelda Classic 2.5, these Gels are otherwise known as Fire Gels because they leave a trail of fire on every tile they visit. It takes 2 hits with a power 1 weapon to kill them and they are merely stunned by power 0 boomerangs and hookshots. The Tribble variety transforms into a Zol 2 Tribble if not killed quickly.
