Keese are both specific enemies included by default, and an enemy type selectable in the Enemy Editor.

The Enemy

Batlike creature that flies around. There are five types: red (which is created from Vires), blue, level color, tribble (which is created from and transforms into Vire Tribbles), and bat (which is generated from Bat Wizzrobes).

Unlike Keese, Bats are stronger, and never decelerate or stop. They are summoned by Bat Wizzrobes.

Enemy Properties

As of RC2.5, the two Keese classes have been merged.

  • Walk Type: The type of flying movement.
Keese: Comes to a halt after a few seconds
Bat: Never comes to a halt
  • Death Type:
Normal: The enemy does not transform
Tribble: The enemy transforms if not killed fast enough
  • Enemy ID: If death type is Tribble, the ID of the enemy into which this enemy transforms.
