i always liked the quest where you go thugh alternate seasons and dimensions of the area you are in, and this dose that. i would say these are other worlds at that time of season, rather than being the same world.

not much else can be said except for it has fun game play and could use improvement on adding on the overworld making it fully or at least near fully explorable on different seasons. this be by the way i fixed it up for you titled "Remix of Seasons"

OK, Unofficial 3rd Quest was kinda fun, even though it was a Zelda 1 quest. Now, some people say "change this, change that." This quest is a cautionary tale to be careful what you wish for.

The "normal" part of the quest is OK, but this quest demands that you get every item in the game. Then, at the end, you go through a 5-floor dungeon, through things as hard as Lv. 11 in New Quest 2003, then if you take one wrong hit on Ganon you have to do the whole thing over again!

I don't mind challenges, but I really do not like things that try to cheese you out like that. It's one thing if you lose a good hard fight. It's another to that. The ending really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Also, I'm very surprised if this was done with a 2.50 beta there aren't custom enemies or other adjustments. More points off in this department for that.

I'm sorry, I can't rate this very good. 2 out of 5. Stick with the U3Q and the O3Q if you want AlphaDawg's better work.

Ah, the original quests. New Quest was the first custom quest, but what did people learn from it? What would happen when someone else gets the ball? Enter AlphaDawg and Unofficial 3rd Quest.

This was a bar-setter. It introduced new things like some new graphics, new levels, and even some crossover culture.

It does have some flaws though. Level 5's overlaying trees with walkable trees goes on too long. It also tends to have too much "second quest cheese" with wrong-way passages and regenerating Super Bomb doors. The other flaw, which makes it difficult to judge in today's world, is the fact the difficulty caps at Level 5 and pretty much stays there. If this was truly to be remade, it'd benefit heavily from new enemies.

Overall, it still holds up, even if it does troll a lot. It is for better or worse a relic of remakes/ROMhacks in the 1990's/2000s before you started talking 2.50/SMM/recent hacking tools.
